Bunmi Koko, is a fashion label operated by Bunmi Olaye (who is of Yoruba origins) and Francis Udom who was once an engineer but now fashion entrepreneur (he is of Calabar origins). The combination of the two fashionably passionate has ensured that Nigerian fashion has caught the spotlight. Celebrities like Estelle, Mischa Barton, ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown and First Lady Michelle Obama are wearing Bunmi Koko.

View the exciting collection called Matriarchy, which is exactly what the collection portrays. We see powerful colours (red/yellow) combined with black and white in a somewhat tie-dye African pattern. Sharp shoulders indicate strong females, legs are celebrated, waistlines made to look minuscule.
