Hand Me the Bag, or I´ll Shoot

These dangerous bags (not only by looks but also for your bank account) will have people looking twice. The dutch designer couple Carolien Vlieger and Hein van Dam launched Vlieger & Vandam in 2002. Now they have moved to New York to work on further collections, a preview of their 2011 selection you can see above and will be available to buy from February 7th.

Caroline studied graphic design at the KABK in the Hague and Hein studied 3D design at AKI in Enschede (both in the Netherlands). The mix of their specialisms produces harmonic but foremost original items. All influences come from social political questions as well as extreme fashion fads, these are brewed together to dish up innovative and classical designs.

The brand makes fashion accessories for men and women. Think of items such as (hand)bags, wallets, cosmetics cases and small goods.
